Melanie Burke Easily one of my favorite albums in recent years (along with Djinn). The solo in Sphere gets me every damn time. So damn good. Favorite track: Sphere (Imprisonment).

gs20 Better late than never, they say, awesome vinyl, packed with great vocals and riffs, melodic, a great black metal release. Favorite track: Snakes & Vultures.

JacobButcher The Mgla reference has been used often enough. So often that it's easy to overlook that UADA's vocals are a bit more haunting and the songwriting a bit more playful. Definitely a very entertaining album, where toughness and melody come together. Favorite track: Blood Sand Ash.

about

On their sophomore full-length, “Cult of a Dying Sun”, Uada expand their scope and range of hypnotic craft. Balancing sharp riffs with spectral melodies in a manifold of haunting yet distinctive black metal dirges. A sharp spear in the heart of the brightest star. Epic, atmospheric, deadly.

"...an unstoppable torrent that gains in force as each song gives way to the next. Masterful." ZERO TOLERANCE

"...worthy of adjectives as like "epic," "venomous" and "unrelenting," but more importantly also "refreshing" and "dramatic." REVOLVER

"This album is a triumph of underground culture" VIA OMEGA

"The Portland black metal naturalists have created a sonic eclipse worth staring into" KERRANG!
