gaslightgod Best thing going in Metal right now! I absolutely love this band. Black metal vocalists all sound similar to me (I know I’m a filthy casual), but for me the instrumentation is what is key for separating the great from the merely okay. This band definitely is in the great category. Favorite track: Cult Of A Dying Sun.

Melanie Burke Easily one of my favorite albums in recent years (along with Djinn). The solo in Sphere gets me every damn time. So damn good. Favorite track: Sphere (Imprisonment).

gs20 Better late than never, they say, awesome vinyl, packed with great vocals and riffs, melodic, a great black metal release. Favorite track: Snakes & Vultures.

The Best Batushka album so far. A Black Metal Classic!!! There are few albums that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track and this is on the top of the list. You almost have to listen to the album as a whole. Do yourself a favor and buy this album The true follow up to this album is Krzysztof Drabikowski Панихида (Panihida). Bart's Раскол / Raskol EP is also a good follow up to this album as well just not as close as Panihida sounds. 10/10 ChrestusV
